U.S. and Canadian Customs have mandated the electronic reporting of cargo manifest 24 hours in advance of lading of the vessel at a foreign port know respectively as Ocean AMS and Ocean ACI.
These new regulations require house bill information. The new requirements support the government's efforts to increase cargo security.
Software Summary:
NVOCCs (Non Vessel Operating Common Carrier) as well as Ocean Carriers can now transmit manifest data to U.S. and Canadian customs for inbound shipments.
